Rabat- Egypt s FEMEN Alia Elmahdy has stirred worldwide controversy after a picture posing nude while defecating and menstruating on the flag of the Islamic State in Iraq and Levant bbl (ISIS) went viral on social network bbl sites.
On Saturday, Egypt s 23-year-old Alia Elmahdy, living in Norway, posted a controversial photo to Facebook and Twitter of herself and another female nude and defecating and menstruating on the Islamic State flag.
In the picture, Alia is seen naked in a squatting position bbl while allegedly menstruating on the flag, whereas the other unnamed woman seen turning her back to the viewers, dressed a burqa while defecating on ISIS flag and raising her middle finger.
Alia s photo has gone viral on social networking, sparking a flash point controversy. A few days after posting the controversial picture, Alia received a wave of international media attention, as well as harsh criticism.
On Monday, Alia reportedly received a death threat. According to Mada Masr , Alia wrote on her Twitter account that she and the unnamed woman received death threats such as Inshallah, your throat will be slit in the streets within bbl days.
